Media release: Relegen Receives Accreditation For New DSTO Research Scientific Engineering and Technical Services Standing Offer Panel

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 17 FEBRUARY, 2014 – Relegen, a leading supplier of people and technology to defence, government and asset-intensive industries, has announced today that it has been accepted onto the newly-established Defence Science Technology Organisation [DSTO] Research Scientific Engineering and Technical Services Standing Offer Panel. This appointment means Relegen is accredited to assist DSTO research and development projects across a number of capabilities skill sets including data analysis, naval platform engineering, operations research analysis and more.

The Defence Science Technology Organisation is a national leader in safeguarding Australia by delivering valued scientific advice and innovative technology solutions for Defence and national security. The DSTO is part of the Department of Defence and is Australia’s largest publicly-funded science agency after the CSIRO. The new Standing Offer panel will replace a number of recently expired and existing panels used by DSTO and is expected to streamline administration and standardise the arrangements for engaging service providers supporting DSTO projects. Whilst the new panel will principally support the DSTO, other Defence groups, including the Defence Material Organisation [DMO], may also access the panel for delivery of relevant services.
