Media release: Relegen Hosts RPDE Regional Meeting

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 26 JUNE, 2014 – Relegen, a leading supplier of people and technology solutions to Defence, maritime, law enforcement, mining and asset-intensive industries, played host last week to the RPDE [Rapid Prototyping, Development and Evaluation Program] Regional meeting at its headquarters in Sydney.

RPDE is a joint initiative between Industry, Academia and Defence – a unique, non-competitive collaboration that brings together innovative organisations from across defence and industry. Collectively, the program aims to accelerate and enhance the capabilities of the ADF by delivering expertise and guidance on solutions to complex, high-risk problems.

The RPDE regional meeting was attended by representatives from Defence industry in the Sydney region, including, the Australian Business Defence Industry Unit, ASI Australia/Liberty Industrial, Beca Pty Ltd, Cirrus Real Time Processing Systems Pty Ltd, Cubic Defence Australia, Etherstack, Hawker-Pacific, RDA Sydney, and Relegen Pty Ltd.

Paul Bennett, Relegen’s Founder and Managing Director said “Relegen has a long history of supporting RPDE and we were proud to host the RPDE regional meeting. We believe in the importance of industry engagement programs like this. It serves to strengthen commerical support for the ADF’s strategic reform program which is focused on extracting maximum value from its substantial asset base – a role where Relegen’s Defence and maritime experience, engineering expertise, and asset and risk intelligence technology is helping to prepare for this transformation.”
